I collect Canadian Cents, Large and Small. I stopped in 2012. Decided to not pursue every Large cent variety.
I have a minor collection, all ungraded. I just put away the first and best coins of current issue that come my way in change. I do also have some silver coinage from back when we had silver coinage here (pre-1968). Some of that was handed down from my mother, who collected for a long time. Unfortunately I've come to realize that while we always thought she knew a lot about coin collecting she was really just a rank amateur who, at 93, still thinks it is a good idea to clean coins in any way that makes them shiny. Oh, well...

There are several quality dealers in Canada that will ship anywhere. I’d recommend a internet search to ID a few and comparison shop. Here is one I have used. https://www.vancouvercoins.ca/
I lived in Canada for a few years and loved it there. I also have many Canadian coins. Here is one of my favorites.
I enjoy Canadian coins, I am very into collecting Silver Maple Leafs, especially with privy marks. Also collect uncirculated sets. Although I love some of the coins and the quality of them, I do think they make to many nonsense coins. I just ordered their test composition coin set. Stuff like that is very cool, wish the US mint offered the recently seen Martha Washington metal composition test coin to collectors. I'm sure most collectors would love to buy it....
I should do the whole show this year . Never made it to the last show earlier this year . Had two cousins die the night before the show started .
The fall show is much better, then the spring show . I'll see you there on Saturday . It will be nice to get my coin from Mr. potter . He's had it for 2 years now . No big deal as long as one of use doesn't pass away .
I especially like the silver dollars. My favorite is the 1939 with the Ottawa parliament building on the reverse.
