Had success in Kunker Auction!

    When I got home from work this evening I checked my bids on Kunker site. I went 2/4:happy:

    The first coin was really cheap....but extremely rare. This auction was from the Dr. W. R. collection of Celtic Coinage.

    Iron Age Briton
    AV Quarter Stater ND struck circa 50/35BC "Allen's Man" 01673q00.jpg
    by the Cantii Tribe
    obv. Imitation of Roman Victory Standard
    rev. Blank
    RRRR extremely rare/ finest known 6-9 exist in collections

    Awesome!!! Beautiful coin:snaphappy:(As posted previously in a different thread, I was skunked today in my 2 bids with Kunker) Not only incredibly rare, but also precisely the same time that Caesar and his boys were invading the island of Briton! Way to go on the acquisition!
