I ordered a loaded Shelby GT500 in 1969. I had just bought a 1968 SS Camaro with 900 miles on it and was going to trade it in. My dad talked me out of it. I still have the filled out order sheet from McFayden's Ford in Omaha. It was under $6000 if I remember right. Maybe I should have went ahead and taken custody of it.
I was a little off on what I was going to pay. Would have made a nice investment. Think of all the Ancient Coins I could trade it for.
Funny thread. I am fortunate to have a wife that likes coins and stacks PM’s. She doesn’t mind me going to coin club or going to coin shows.
