Just looking to see if you would or wouldnt keep this note. http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l67/StripedBass/10dollarbill.jpg
I would. So far (knock on wood) i have never recieved a star that is not still in my collection! If i see it, if it crosses my palms, it is all mine... 100% a keeper. Now with that opinion aside, it 'may' nto be worth a ba-zillion dollars (yet or never) BUT it is a star! and remember - stars account for less then 1% of all notes printed!!!! and it is usuually around .65% or so ... SO, KEEP IT if you can
well, 3,200,000 notes is NOT a super small run. when you see printing numbers of 640,000 or less even, those are Super low printing numbers. 3 million notes is still some what mall when you look at total printings for a series of 2 or more billion. But, 3,million notes is usually recognized as small, but big enough for the average collector to be able to find one in circulation. And if the average collector can find them, why would dealers stock up on them to sell as a premium? Still could happen, but nothing major. But as i stated before, i would certainly keep it - its a star
Indeed I will, as I have kept every star note that has ever crossed my path. I think today ill go threw my paper note collection and see how many star notes I now have. Thanks for the posts. i really just posted this becuase I like the serail #'s its to bad it 00 00 00 01 but its still a cool note.
rofl! good luck on that 00000001 note that is a dream of alot of us paper money collectors They do print them, for each series, for each district (modern days anyhoot) but what a challenge they are to find!!!!
