The word Tripled Die already exists in Numismatic Terminology. Looks to me like Die Deterioration common on Copper plated Zinc Cents. I just want to ask to make sure. You do know that a Doubled Die is not 2 strikes on a coin? And niether is a Tripled Die 3 strikes?
So I take that these three photos demonstrates classic signs of Machine Doubling and Die Deterioration ?
@Rick Stachowski .. Anything you aware of? I just gave my opinion.. Please provide full pictures of the Obverse
I am watching because I can't see anything past the over pixilation and flash, except Die Deterioration.
I would keep it or send it into http://www.doubleddie.com/402401.html for 4+ dollers per coin upto 5 coins per shipment + shipping and if your right then WOW but if your wrong u lost 4+ per x 5 coins
We can't even tell if this coin is a doubled die yet...why ask the OP to send it in for confirmation and waste money? To the OP - like I mentioned earlier, sharper pics of the entire LIBERTY area will help...not 100% sure if this is a doubled die or MD/DDD yet.
really did u not read "keep it" or "send it in" it's his choice and have an EXPERT look at the coin its self. pic's do show us error's but most ppl cannot give you the best pic or the clearest pic's and it is his money right? and what's wrong with me giving him/her my opinion?
Your correct.. But I just want to know.. How long have you been into searching for errors and varieties? You just started correct?
my being new to this is nothing to do with what I said "I did not tell him/her that it was or was not a new ddv" now did I "I said to keep it or turn it into http://www.doubleddie.com/402401.html and gave him how much it would cost him if he turned it in and what he could lose if it wasn't a new ddv NOW how bout u back off me as I am not in any way LYING to this guy/gal
