1970-D quarter with Canada 1941 error??

    The ones found were S Mint Mark.. Not D

    If it were the one you hoped it was,
    you would be able to see the understrike
    (Canadian coin) easily under the Washington
    Quarter design on both sides.

    There is nothing there on your coin that is remotely
    close to anything having to do with such a coin.

    ....even if there were 10,
    this one isn't even close.

    I can't see any 'undertype'
    design; only a few bag marks.

    Well, I thought there was only 1 known.
    How many 1941 Canadian quarters could this San Francisco mint worker have in 1970 to accidentally drop into the hopper of proof blanks?
    My point being, if there is only one, it's pointless to look for another.
    And there have been a few threads here people claiming to have this coin,
    and it's not even San Francisco.
    The idea that 2 mint workers in Denver and San Francisco, dropped in a 1941 Canadian quarter into the coining process, and then let it go into circulation is ludicrous.
    Usually when these errors are made clandestinely, the workers smuggle the error coin out of the mint.
