i got tricked by a Glue PENNY today thinkin it was double stamped but ended up finding this tonight

    I am sorry to say but that is not a Doubled Die.
    It's Die Deterioration Doubling. Worn Die Strike. Worthless doubling.

    You should try to keep your thread titles shorter and simpler.

    This is the 1995 Doubled Die Cent
    Look at the word LIBERTY carfully and campare to your Cent.

    Slow it down a bit, my friend. Kudos for admitting your earlier mistake, but please understand it takes time to learn and that either better and/or more valuable varieties don't magically fall into our laps. The one way you can increase your chances of finding something special is to educate yourself.

    No. Look at your coin and then compare it to @paddyman98 's and my examples...

    It is clearly not the same.. Look at how normal your LIBERTY looks o_O
    The rest is classic die deterioration common on copper plated zinc cents

    Is there any estimate of how many of the error coins exist? Are they confined to the Philadelphia mint?

    I have 2 1995 Doubled Die certified.. But I never found one in the wild :(
