I am sorry to say but that is not a Doubled Die.
It's Die Deterioration Doubling. Worn Die Strike. Worthless doubling.

You should try to keep your thread titles shorter and simpler.

Look at the word LIBERTY carfully and campare to your Cent.

Here is one of the 95 DDO's that I found. Yours isn't it. sorry.

 

Slow it down a bit, my friend. Kudos for admitting your earlier mistake, but please understand it takes time to learn and that either better and/or more valuable varieties don't magically fall into our laps. The one way you can increase your chances of finding something special is to educate yourself.

No. Look at your coin and then compare it to @paddyman98 's and my examples...

It is clearly not the same.. Look at how normal your LIBERTY looks
The rest is classic die deterioration common on copper plated zinc cents

 

Yours DOES NOT look like either of our actual DDO examples.

 

Is there any estimate of how many of the error coins exist? Are they confined to the Philadelphia mint?

According to this: 500,000.
I've found 4 or 5 myself.

 

I have 2 1995 Doubled Die certified.. But I never found one in the wild

 

And the correct term is doubled die.
