Is this severus alexander with julia maesa or with julia mamaea..any ideas?

    The legend reads Maesa clearly. See MAICA starting just above her shoulder.

    This is what it would have looked like, not the exact type as yours though.
    The Obverse legend is the same which should help you figure out who He is.
