That is glue with an impression of the reverse.

Not a miss stamp nor Mint Error of any kind

Duplicate thread. I answered on the first thread.. It's glue residue with the impression in the Reverse

It will come off.. Some adhesives take time.

if it's stamped then it's probably a vice job.
As an example, squeezing two cents together in a vice.
But it's probably a glue impression. Craft stuff.

You can clearly see the outline of the old adhesive. The rim is not even affected. Still raised.

I know the minting process and how true Mint Errors are made. This is no type of strike error.

    Yes I saw that too.
My daughter takes my cents and uses them for crafts.
She uses simple Elmer's Glue (easy to take off) and Super glue (harder to take off) all the time to glue them together and onto things.

btw, I tell her to only use Zinc cents (along with the modern quarters) and I keep a pile of them available.

who knows, maybe this is one of them that been redistributed.
She's glued coins to candy boxes all the way to elaborate stacks glued together (the super glue came in handy for these complex ones) to add feathers and other stuff to represent dragons.

Better yet, please explain to us how you think a reverse design that has not been used since 2008 could possibly come from the Mint like this 8 years later?

if you think its glue thats fine but its a mystery right now it could be viced or glue but i am trying to remove glue and can not get it off but i have seen glue coins too and they look similar but why is the 2016 date strange when thats the original penny and the lincoln Memorial is very detailed no matter how hard i work at trying to see if i can remove it

It's glue.. Try dipping it in acetone for a little while.
