    Thought PMD at first but I’m not positive.

    Alright alright, but how does the second sun raise up in the bottom?

    I’m just trying to figure out how it was made.
    That’s what I couldn’t figure out how it would come across like that after being struck.


    Had a guy come into the coin shop saying he has been hanging onto this for 25-30 years and he wanted to know if it was a mint error.

    I said the same thing about it being PMD but I couldn’t figure out how it was made.

    Hammers and punches. There appear to be a couple of different punches applied here. And the raised portions are made because depressions were made - the metal has to go somewhere.

    Kripes, such a multitude to respond to.......The 'Bag on' is my alter ego.......I'm funny sometimes. Not most, but 'maybe on some occasions. The P-38 is the real me.......warrior in times past. Can't remember much, but I know I was there........
