ok, this note has the following details in the Krause Standard catalog:

    1000 Kronur (pick-46)
as an issued note (meaning for circualtion) in VG= $2.50 VF= $8.00 and UNC= $16.00
no values are listed for a specimen.
Signature 31-34,36 and 38-43 (compared to the list in the catalog)

    100 Kronur (pick-44)
    as an issued note in VG= $.50 VF= $1.50 and UNC= $3.25
no values are listed for a specimen
    Signature 31-36 and 38-44

The books also does not go into details about printing #'s, meanign how many were printed.

    Hope this helps :p

Here is a catalog of Icelandic coins and notes: http://www.sedlabanki.is/uploads/files/TheCurrencyofIceland.pdf
The book is in Icelandic and English, and some of the "recurring" Icelandic terms are explained in the glossary. The 100 kr note (P#44) is on p.46-47, the 1000 kr note is on page 48; no figures (about how may were printed) there either ...

For anyone who collects banknotes and is in search of an Icelandic banknote here is a quick tip so you can recognize it. Iceland is spelled "Island." It's that simple. I remember getting my first Icelandic banknote and thinking it pertained to some island :hatch:

Just thought i'd let you guys no, just in case you come across one and make the same mistake as I.
