A lot of bag dings but I THINK this would still get an MS? Hopefully 61 or 62? There is a film over it (dirty) and with a proper professional conservation I think it would def be MS - - - Thoughts?

What's not to like about Morgans? They're readily available at numerous auction sites... they come in all price and grade ranges, the design is beautiful. Of course... I might just be slightly prejudiced.

 

Looks like it has some nice rim toning.

 

Love the patina on circulated coins...
Just knowing how many people held these, who held them and spent them and what they saw in those years always intrigued me.

 

Over the past couple weeks I've found some nice San Francisco Mint Morgans

 

That's one of my favorite things with old coins. I have 3 1853 seated quarters. Who may have had them, a civil war soldier, a cowboy is some dusty western town, Abe Lincoln? Love the possible history
