In the 1963 film "From Russia with Love" British secret agent James Bond (Sean Connery) is given an attache case with fifty British gold sovereign coins.

In the 1966 film "Murderers Row", American secret agent Matt Helm (Dean Martin) is given a box with three British half crown coins.

Given the difference in values between the two coins, it appears that the American is traveling on the cheap.

Its funny you mention James Bond.

Just yesterday I bought a large collection of British and world coins, among them was a mint set of 26 Ten Pence pieces dated 2018.

Its the new Alphabet set which I did not know about and have yet to see in circulation.

26 coins from A-Z with British themes.

    B is for 007 Bond.
