I have a subscription from the mint for the ASE's. This way I don't have to worry about server changes :rolling:.

 

Good call USS656, I may have to set that up tomorrow after work!

You get the proofs, or the uncirculated ones??

Im leaning toward the uncirculated ones.

Jim; I have been taking part in the US Mint's subscription program for a couple of years now. It's a great way to make sure you don't miss the boat on a certain item.

My proofs came in today adn I agree.......GORGEOUS!

I have subscriptions for 2 proof ASE's, 2 uncirculated ASE's, 6 silver proof sets and 2 mint sets each year

Got mine in the mail on Saturday. I'm hoping the server problem at the mint doesn't interfere with my other automatic subscriptions.

 

Might just go to the Mint's gift shop or a 3rd party dealer to avoid the hassle of trying to order over the phone lol...

I usually hold out for a while as people like to get these for me as gifts. (They know I like coins but can't figure out what to get... this is a safe bet lol...) It's not hard to get later if my birthday passes and I didn't get one by then.

 

I got mine today and they are stunning. I don't think the mint often lets a proof coin go with less than a 69 or 70 grade.

I heard (on TV) that there are a few changes to these coins this year. Anyone know about this?

Thanks Darryl. I try not to believe what those TV coin hucksters say but when they mentioned some subtle changes in this years coins, I figured they couldn't lie about the facts.

My coins look great. I even noticed the date being smaller before I read about it.
