Me too, but I have to make a living, so I compromised by living LITERALLY a stroke survivor's bad arm stone's throw from where I work. I can get to work in 6 minutes in 30 inches of fresh snow.

 

Only leave when things are perfect and going to a place I'm safe and with understanding loved ones. Thank god for family

 

Yeah, but on the other hand, I'm comfortable speaking to 5,000 people, something I have done. And comfortable arguing a case pro se before my state's Supreme Court as a non-lawyer, which I have also done.

I once did have steel-toed boots in my youth, in the late 70's / early 80's. I was in the business of installing One-Hour Photo labs all over the U.S. and Canada. One machine on your toes causes you to "find religion" real fast.

In recent years, I use the front end of my footwear to see if I can see it at the back of the throat of people who mess with me.
