OK, it just occurred to me that you fellows need the 2008-W Gold Buffalo Indian Head 1/10 Gold to go with 2016 issues....hang on while I go find a gold Indian Head cent repro... ;)

Since that purchase a whole week ago.... I have had two more gold purchases forced upon me.... Well, they didn't have to push all that hard..... BUT!! I must cool my recent gold fever...... Except spot is so danged cheap.... I am my own worst enemy.

From what a little research has told me the premiums on that 1/10 oz. gold buff are insane anyway Randy....I just had the picture of those 4 together in my mind..

That would upset me. I do not have your answer but have seen two recent threads about proof sets developing black spots while still in the original packaging. Perhaps there is something at play at the mint here. I just don't know.

What online seller has the best price on the 2016 SLQ? Any reason to buy one of the various TPB items I've seen advertised on ebay?

Ya, it was struck at the U.S. Mint! I have had this problem previously on the 2009 UHR $20. The QC at the U.S. mints is horrible - nothing consistent in their issues of special items outside of regular-issue proof sets.
