I got this in a lot that I got for 10 dollars. I did a bit of research when I first got it but there don’t seem to be a whole lot out there to compare to to get a price estimate. I think it is an 18th century pfenning. Any info on value or better identification would be much appreciated.

Such reckoning tokens - see the text "RECH: PFENNING" on the piece (the rest on that side I cannot read) - were made by private companies, e.g. Lauer in Nuremberg. The pieces were used for calculations, see here for example: http://www.rechenschieber.org/Rechenpfennige.pdf (German, but with many illustrations). In the case of your piece, the double eagle suggests Russia (or Germany) methinks while the lady on the other side is supposed to be Pallas Athene ... Christian
