so i have two paper rolls of these quarters and in prepping for the vegas show. these groups are my top picks the 8 on top are the cleanest of hairlines and nicks the bottom group is my visual rejects. photo is poor check my eye and tell me what you think
These were collected and saved in mass amounts. And there are many out there in great condition. What are your plans for the coins? Plentiful as they are they don't hold much of a premium.
They look very nice. Many were minted in 1976 though (so many that they skipped 1975 altogether and started them a year early). Not worth a lot more than face value.
I have no real plan for this whole lot. I realize they were hoarded in great amounts. I am trying to develop a better grasp and a better eye for discerning wear vs strike quality. Sorry, I should have been clearer. Because I had a lot of these I wanted to double check my division of this set. Is there something I am not looking at? I really appreciate the experience of all and learning to be better overall.
