    Like Michael K, I think 35 but wouldn’t be surprised by XF. On my own example (a VF) it takes at least a 5x glass to to see the telltale marker, plus lotsa light and a good long look. Can’t see the 5/4 here but I’m sure it shows up in hand. Nice looking specimen.

    Yes, that's the remnants of the arrow from the 1854 date. (Different date position than 53).
