Very nice! I'm sure @jamesicus will appreciate this "brit"-related middle denomination.

  6. This CNG example sold for $750 on a $750 estimate back in 2011.
It shares the same reverse die as your friend's.

I'd say your friend's example is in much better condition and has a more attractive patina. Safe to say he has a ≥$1000 find. Awesome.

Does anyone have an explanation for the Reverse legend distortion ?
I cant see any die breaks or double strike in the area but the VICTBR ITTRP is out of line with each other, how does this happen ?

Probably a double strike in which the strikes weren't perfectly planar. If the hammer is tilted a bit only part of the die will leave an impression. You can get a sense of this tilted strike by looking at the flan shape, which is particularly apparent on the obverse. The flan is ovoid and presumably thinned out at the top on the obverse.

    Thanks for the explanation @TIF.
I have a few coins myself that have similarities in strike but they all show clear evidence of the 2 strikes or flan pinch/ tilt strike, most didn't fare as well as the OP's coin.
Thanks for posting @galba, nice find.
