I bought this Seated Liberty Quarter off of ebay to fill a hole in my 7070 album. The seller advertised it as G4 and I paid $25. If the G4 grade is right, then I don't think I did too bad, but I'm not sure that's a fair grade. Does anyone have another opinion? Did I do OK? Thanks. Well it's been my experience if you're happy that's the only thing that matters at least that's what I tell myself when I buy.

The toning is a bit dark but it's a clean coin. No real dings or scratches that I can see. If your pleased what's the problem?

No problem, really. The grading for these seems to be more lenient than other coins, though. Although my first thought was AG3, but when I started reading up in a couple of grading guides it made me think the G4 grade is fair.

  6. That is a nice coin for a hole filler. Details wise, that it looks like a solid fine. Photograde puts it at an f15, maybe vf20 depending how it looks in hand.

The scratches on both sides hurts a bit, so buying it at good pricing seems reasonable.
