Need help with new Alexander please

    Miletos struck coins with grain ears in the reverse left field, with no monograms below Zeus' throne.

    I think that is Alexander's name, and I don't know how common a doubled die of this ancient coin is.

    not a doubled die. the coin was actually struck twice.

    yup a double strike..purdy kool coin, i don't believe i've ever seen one on a Alexander before..

    I've looked and I've looked and I can't seem to find a double strike like that... Yeah.... Just got lucky...m

    Did a quick search. There seems to be a decent number of reverse double strikes (of varying degrees) on Herakles/Zeus type tets. Here's a small sampling, the first being another Miletos issue:
