He says it's in Fine condition. Highly overgraded. I would say AG...maybe G, but thats stretching things a bit. It doesn't even have a full rim as far as I can tell, which is minimum for a G grade. But, if you're having trouble finding this one in any grade, then go for it. I wouldn't pay more than $30 though, but thats just me.

I think the coin is either scratched on the middle of the obverse, or it is slightly bent.

Thanks for the opinions so far guys. Knowing that the coin has obvious obverse damage makes me not want to bid as high as I originally planned. This coin isnt offered very often with a mintage of only 120,000, I may try to grab it for a filler until a nicer one comes along.

I think the details grade is correct. Looks like full rims and a visible LIBERTY. Seems like the question is whether or not it is a problem coin.

The description says it is scratched. I will not comment on the coin per se, but I have worked with the seller before. They had a typo in the listing, but the picture was right. i.e. both of our mistakes. found them very easy to work with and very friendly.

That is a very nice coin. Its too bad someone cleaned it. Have you dealt with this seller before?

What does accentoncoins have to do with seatedlibertykeydates?

SeatedLibertyKeyDates has taken his buyer account private feedback, SantasLilTreasures, neat trick, but all you have to do is search completed listings on all his current and past coins, you will find where he bought them.

He bought this coin on his Seated id, go figure..

He has another buy account that will be made public soon.................

I am still confused. What does any of this have to do with accentoncoins?

My comment does not have anything to do with them

I really like those half dimes & dimes with low mintages, in this instance: 120,000!
There may be a scratch, but, from the pictures, not overly distracting.
If you think that you can live with it, go for it.

Are you also going for the dimes set?
There are many (in my opinion) under priced and under valued dates in that set also.
    Good luck!

I thought I'd try building a set of Half Dimes first then go to the Seated Dimes. The low mintages is what really attracted me to this series. I'm going to try to put together the entire set. I just checked the auction today, it went up more than I thought it would and it wasnt worth it to me. It ended at $51.00. I believe its too much for the coin being in the condition that its in. Well, on to the next one.....

Good decision on that one. Not worth it at all. Besides, all the SL Half Dimes have low mintages, so you can take your time and not get ripped-off like someone did on that particular auction. Keep looking.

Good move, that was too much for a damaged coin.
Agreed with that those are two great sets to work on.
Now, just wait until you get to Seated quarters!

I went to that web site but the photo of that coin was just to dark for me. I'd stay away from a coin that I couldn't really see in detail. Also, when I looked it said bidding has ended.
