Again, you've been here not much more than a week but expect everyone to have picked up on little personality traits? If being honest, why not throw in a winky to make this clear? It's not our collective responsibility to ensure we understand you, but is yours to help us do just that. Consider it food for thought.
Like I said, I apologize if I came off as an ass. That wasn’t my intention. I came here to expand my numismatic knowledge and share what I know.
As will I, but please keep in mind it'll take a little time for folks to understand your personality, just like it'll take time for you to understand ours. All is well.
My speech professor in 1972 told us if you say something "tongue-in-cheek", make sure your audience knows it that it is. Same thing here for joking. Forum members will correct misinformation. So if you use the wrong terminology you can expect to be called on it. Coins are "struck", not "stamped or "printed". Proofreading your contribution before you post will cut down typos. @1916D10C ...116 posts since you joined CT is commendable, keep 'em coming. But. BooksB4Coins was right in defending Paddyman98. I would never compare myself to these established experts, I just don't know enough. And, I suspect by now you know that humility is a great teacher. I strive to be accurate and understood with my posts and help others to do so as well...Spark
You are very right, Spark friend, I should have checked the spelling before publishing, it does not bother me to correct the other participants since that is a forum for that. You are the best, responding promptly and clarifying what for some seems to be a discovery in a currency you explain to us that it can be a stain or just wear on the currency by circulation. To all those who have commented on this post I say thank you and continue with your contributions so that we beginners can learn from this hobby!
