Nice coin, Okidoki. I just started collecting ancient countermarks recently and I am afraid this one stumps me - but again, I am just beginning. Whenever I get a countermark I can't identify (which is about all of them, at first), I look over this page from FORVM, which has a lot of examples, with good photos and lots of information. I've figured out several of mine from this page. http://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=546 The problem I am having is that I can't even tell what your countermark is, which makes it harder to search. It seems the host coins often got the same kind of countermarks, so you might try searching the host and hope you hit a countermarked example. Good luck!
Perhaps an E or Σ? I don't see any countermarks listed for this city in Howgego but there are some E in large circular punches for the general vicinity. Maybe it is a denomination mark?
