The cap appears to me to have points similar to a crown rather than a cap.

A possible match to these fakes but yours looks struck:

That doesn’t mean it is real. Sometimes casts are made from struck fakes. Where did you get it?

It does look like a crown, doesn't it? It appears that way because the silver is pitted, and the pitting has removed some of the silver in just the right places to create what look like points in the cap. It is definitely a cap, though. Specifically, it is a liberty cap, a symbol of liberty from tyrants that everyone back then would have recognized.

If you want to get a better response I would recommend creating your own thread instead of piggybacking on a year old thread of a fake.
That said, my amateur opinion is what @Nicholas Molinari has said. It appears to be a match to known fakes. I don't think this person is your friend but trying to take advantage of you. Authentic types of these coins do not come to market from people buying from a buddy for a few bucks, but from high end auction houses, giving decades of provenance and charging hundreds of thousands of dollars. I am more certain that this is a fake in how you have presented it then in your pictures.
That said, if you are looking into starting an ancients collection there are wonderful places to go and get ancients that are guaranteed to be authentic. Might I recommend you checking out V coins.

If he is asking 20000e, I would not buy on the words of us that only have photos and not see the coin in hand. Offer to give him a small amount (or contract) to hold until you can take to a local expert there. You might lose the deposit but save many euros you would lose if fake.

Few friends turn over that amount if they do not have to do so, be careful.

It is 1000% fake. If he found it in the ground, it's because someone dropped it 10 years ago shortly after it was made. It's a scam and not worth 200 euro, let alone 20K.

Your pictures didn't come through, but an Eid Mar is a rare coin. Take it to a dealer.

I can’t see the picture, but I am 99.9% sure the coin you were trying to post is a fake.
