So I've heard that notes with 666 somewhere in the serial number are worth a little more than what the note is worth I found a $50 star note with 666 in the serial number I'm going to put a picture in just curious what would it be worth besides $50 if anything?
I wouldn't want it if you offered it to me for less than face value, lol. I'm not superstitious. But I AM a little stitious. Different strokes for different folks.
See this little dot . ? It is called a period. It is used at the end of a sentence. If you don't use it your statement is considered a run-on sentence. Try to use it.
To me, even with low print runs, blah blah blah, almost every star note on a modern is worth face value. There are collectors, but then condition must be pristine. And then, a fancy serial number would be preferable. You can pick up almost any note and find some convoluted theme in a partial serial number.
666 in a note, star or otherwise is nothing to a collector. I have 3 sets of bills, one note from each Federal Reserve District and each note has a consecutive series of three numbers. I.E. 111, 222, 333 up to and including 999 and 000. Yes, two of the bills repeat the same number as there are 10 digits and 12 Districts. It took me less than a week to put together a set. I also have the same thing with 4 of the same number. A bit harder but not a problem. It's meaningless. Your note is worth $50.00 or face value.
Okay thank you guys seems like I need to stop believing everything I read I I was reading somewhere something that said if you found a bill that had six six six in the serial numbers consecutively then that bill was on average worth $20 is more than face value.
You forgot to log off of your cointalk.com account and log onto your sourpussgrammer....... account. .... com. Not everyone here is from the states, especially this sub forum.
If it was crisp uncirculated, someone may be willing to give you 10% over face value, if you find the right person. Circulated? It is $50.
If the early writings are correct, the XIC = 616. Its possible we avoided the wrong number all along and freely used satan's number. Or, it is possible that what John saw was a different language... Arabic? Would you then read it backwards? But that is better left for him that hath understanding.
