1943-P DOUBLED DIE OBV JEFFERSON 5c DOUBLED EYE VARIETY... I always wanted 1 of these. paid $39 (probably paid to much). not sure what grade it is ? I am happy with it.
Yeppers that be it... I have one in unc. It amazes me how many varties can be found on a 43 P nickel. 7o some plus rpm's alone..... but this one has been one of my long term favorite variety. Also one of the best ddos
Good /Very good I had one in an old SEG slab in Au. That I wish I hadn't sold. But it's funny going through old rolls of war nickels finding ones like this can be found .
Not bad you're talking a spot priced nickel thats a variety. So basically you paid for the variety but a very cool one at that ... and to me it's definitely worth the money paid to add it to your collection.
