2005 D dime missing clad layer.

A coin that is clad and is a Missing Clad Layer would only be missing one side.
So it is not missing Clad Layer. What it could be is a Improperly Annealed Planchet which is a totally different Mint Error.

 

Here is an example of Missing Clad Layer only on the Obverse from my collection -

Just wanted to say that I'm not totally sure your Dime is Improperly Annealed
Could also be just Natural toning and/or Environmental Damage

 

Yes for sure I know. You would tell me right away if you were sure of it. Thanks now I know something else to look for.

 

I don't think yours is missing the clad layer. More likely is just toned.
