My name is Joey and I am 11yrs old and have questions

I came from the middle class and still live in the middle class .
Both of my sons went to the public schools, til college .
One builds robotics and the other one is two semesters from medical school .

It's up to parents to teach their kids respect .
Not the public schools ...

Agreed, but when you are forced in with dozens of people that haven't been taught that respect, you become a "social misfit".

 

Let me tell you all a story .
My youngest was in 3 grade and a 6th grader was bullying him .
Went to the school and they did nothing about it .

So I took matter in my own hands .
For a week I showed up ever day after school to have some fun with this bully .

Next thing that happen was the school had a conference with all that were involved . Me and my wife show up and only the mother showed for the bully .

To make a long story short, when I was done with the mother .
Here and her bully went to another district .

Again, it's up to us to teach respect and thats what I did .

It was easier just to accept being the misfit and shut out everyone else. Develop your skills to the point you don't need anyone else.

 

I wish you could of been my son, no one would of bullied you .
I'm very sadden, you had to go through that ..
I know how my younger son felt ...

 

Are any of you guys reading Joey's posts?

He said, "I really am eleven and I am home schooled. I stay up with my pa sometimes but he always says the same thing. For no longer than an hour."

He doesn't go to public school.
@Littlejoey - you are blessed to be homeschooled. Be very thankful that you have the option to learn that way. I was homeschooled too and sometimes I would wish that I was in public school like other kids. Now that I am older, I realize that being homeschooled was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Keep up the good work and have fun collecting!
