The nose issue is likely due to an overpolished die. As for the reverse, take a look at there the obverse design lines up to it and tell us what you think.
Looks to me like there are two damaged spots on the obverse where the raised areas are on the reverse.
Compare the shape of the reverse issue to the obverse design to see if they match. Are you familiar with the term "ghosting"?
No. Never heard of it. But I just found another one. It looks like ghosting. Are they worth anything?
It's hard for me to see any ghosting, but I also don't have the coin in-hand and have eyesight no blind man would take. I can see what appears to be evidence of die deterioration though.
I suggested it as a likely possibility on the first, but clarified the fact I was unable to see the second well enough to identify anything beyond simple die deterioration. The newly-posted photos confirm this.
