Thank you. It looked like to me the curl of the nine was pointing at the 7. Sometimes they could be tricky my gradpa said.

You are very welcome. Yes they can be tricky. Even I still get fooled sometimes.

Again Welcome to CT and come back anytime with any questions you may have. Or just show off some of your favorite coins in the appropriate forums if you want. We Love Photos!!

I really am eleven and I am home schooled. I stay up with my pa sometimes but he always says the same thing. For no longer than an hour.

Welcome to coin talk young man. Please make sure to identify yourself as 11 years old each time you post. We have a number of curmudgeons who delight in being mean to people who post simple questions. Even they should lay back and go lightly when they respond to your questions. If not the others will deal with them. Good luck on your search for information.

  15. Welcome to Coin Talk Joey. I have an 11 year old grandson who is starting to get into coins. Keep at it we need all the young people we can get. Also did you take the photos of the coins?

First 11-year-old I ever knew to call himself “little.” Anyway, welcome to CT!

Been calling my pre-teen girl Kenzie-Bop since before she could walk. Now as a pre-teen, her feelings get quite hurt when I don't call her that. I even see it on her school papers from time to time. Sometimes youngsters can grow quite attached to the pet names given to them by us over the hill types.

Depends on where you're at. School started here two weeks ago. And I believe the posting time you see is based on your local time zone not the that of the person posting. If he is on the west coast a 2:37 AM post here would be 11:37 PM there. A little late for an 11 year old but not out of the question. If he is one the east coast then I agree that would be rather late. But if he is home schooled then he may not have to get up early in the morning.

He should be with his peers during school time .
If not, that's how we get social misfits .

Nothing would surprise me these days .
    Best of luck Joey ...........

I have to get back to painting .
Here's some food for thought .

Read his first post on his thread .
Looks like a adult wrote it .

Now look at the rest of his post .
That looks like a 11 year old wrote it .

Being forced into public school was what made me a social misfit. They were close to my age, but they weren't my peers. Being forced to be around them is what make me understand how the various school shooters felt and why they did it. i don't agree with what they did, but I can understand why they did.
