What year does NGC use to decide whether it goes to the Ancients department or World Coins department
The TPG services usually grade everything from 650BC to end of Byzantine Empire as ancient coinage. But I have seen medieval coins from 1000AD graded under world section.I think this one was in the "world coin dept." since for ancients they go by MS 5/5 strike 5/5 surface John
