How do you know you won? I bid on some other lots, all of them are pending.

Check you account track/bid or invoices, your winnings will show. Mine says some last secong bidding may or may not show, this is P'ing me off, I went 1 bid over my own just to be sure I won it, and it closed with me as high bidder as I watched. It is not on my invoice yet tho, we'll see

    Same here

It was @400, I went to 425 right at end, but it looks as tho i lost to 450, darn, I hate the way teletrade bidding works. You wil not se another Peace dollar like that in a long time. That would have sold for $1000 in 1 minute at the ANA show in March

Let's see. You bid $450. Add the 12% buyer's fee ($54) and your cost would have been $504 plus shipping. Personally, I don't think it was worth that. (But I don't collect Peace dollars and I wouldn't pay much extra for monster toning.)

    And artificially toned.

    So a $50 coin sells for $450!!!
NOW I understand why so much artificial toning is being done.
It's rare that I see a toned coin that appeals to me.
    This isn't one of them.
    Just my personal preference.

    Jack,

Although the Obverse toning is beautiful, why would you be willing to pay more than $400 over the value of the coin? Not trying to be nosy but would like to know???!!! I am sure that you can find quite a few others with similar toning on not just the Obverse but on the Reverse as well, at a much lower price!

Thats a flip coin, teletrade $450 / Ebay skys the limit.

A slabbed rainbow Peace like that would fetch hugh bucks. It;s that simple on a coin like that. I would admire it for a while, then flip it.

Toners will never stop fetching sky high prices. And understandingly so. :D I personally think it's NT, but someone posted a link to it over on the PCGS boards thinking it was AT'd.
