My grandfather told me that a good coin collecter will do there own research, be patient and dedicated, and to consider the opinions of other collectors. I was wondering if this coin is a 1969s double die penny because I can see slits and also some double letters. And is the other coin a 1970 small date . thank you from joey

Now for your questions. Your 1969S is a little blurry. It isn't the big DDO for that year as that one is very obvious and you would know it if you had it.

Also, why the dark spot on the mm of the ‘69?

 

it is not during school year still summer, when I was his age never slept that much maybe 2-3 hours a night, at 58 still only get less then 3 hours, some people just have extra energy

 

I thought about that last night too. Decided I would give the OP the benefit of the doubt.

 

Still summer here too but schools started last week. Just south of the border they start after Labor Day.
