OK, so I have been lurking for a little over a year, going to the site every day, and have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge, followed a lot of advise. Some days a laugh, some days a shake of the head and a cringe. I am completing a Lincoln set and am at the point I would like to reach out for advise with photos of what I have. I am attaching a photo, and would like any and all critique of my coin photograghy before I dive in. I don't want to be the one time poster with a pic of pocket change, out of focus, asking why you don't see the obvious DDO.
Looks OK to me. I bought a small 9.2V hand grinder. By using a light duty brass wire rotating tool, I've been able to polish my older coins to a nice bright surface. I do this just for myself as I like shinny coins. I have 1 set of Lincolns with original patina and 1 set that is bright.
Thanks for the replies, I will post some I have questions about later. Took awhile to get the pics not to show the wire wheel marks and Brasso smudges
You should post a picture of the grinder wire wheel polished coins and a picture of the coins that you left untouched.
