    I'm not a paper expert but from my understanding that is a common thing when the sheets are cut no extra value.JMO

    Collecting Nut Borderline Hoarder

    Welcome to CT. It's a 2009 Star note that is cut within set standards. It is very close at the top and wide at the bottom. It's not cut into the bill itself so it's a normal star note worth face or a quarter more. Nice to keep since you found it. It would make a nice start to a paper money collection.
