    That's an half Sovereign from Great Britain.
    Nice piece, should be slabbed for autentication reasons.

    Wrong shield design for a Half Sovereign, it looks like a Sixpence or Shilling that has been gold plated.
    Weigh it
    Sixpence 2.82 grams
    Shilling 5.65 grams
