That is a beautiful coin. I have yet to acquire a true Greek piece, not counting the Macedonian in my collection.
details of the lady She was minted between 445-387 BC. And she weighs in at 8.382gm,and 21mm. I know there are more complex ancients, but the detail in Corinths staters are as good as any of her contempories.And better than most. JonySky
That's a beautiful coin. Besides the stunning design, I like the elegant simplicity of the reference to Corinth, just the single letter 'koppa' below the pegasus.
