    Well she is new to me. I think the Classic Athena and Pegasos Stater from Corinth is one of the most beautiful coins ever made. And I finally have one. Let me introduce you to the lovely lady from Corinth along with her trusty steed...JonySky

    details of the lady

    She was minted between 445-387 BC. And she weighs in at 8.382gm,and 21mm. I know there are more complex ancients, but the detail in Corinths staters are as good as any of her contempories.And better than most. JonySky

    That's a beautiful coin. Besides the stunning design, I like the elegant simplicity of the reference to Corinth, just the single letter 'koppa' below the pegasus.
