1946 Penny Lamination error

    Lamination Looks good. Very common on Wheat Cents

    Very common lamination, yes, but still pretty cool. I like laminations when they obfuscate parts of the design, such as the lettering on this example. The coin has been beat up and badly treated which will reduce most of the value, but still a pretty cool coin.

    Seems to have taken quite a hit and push to the surface just immediately to the left of the Lamination issue. Looks like the metal was pushed up as the "IN" rim area is higher than it would be. Though the picture isn't very clear.
