The I in LIBERTY is almost directly on the B. The second is a 1944 penny. The error is in the final four in the date. Is this error ever recorded? Or rare? And how valuable should they be?

Do a couple of searches on this site and you will find your answer.

Hint, your coin is not unique

The 1955 took a hit on LIB.. Not a Mint Error
The 1944 also took a hit.. Not a Mint Error

Copper can be moved very easily when enough force is applied to the letters and numerals.

Have you ever seen someone crack open a roll of coins on the edge of the cash register drawer?

Yes... And the hairs on my neck stand up each time I see that.

Quit wasting your time looking through pocket change for errors. 99.9 percent of the time you’re not going to find anything except what your eyes talk you into seeing.

Sadly yes.... This isn't to say there's no value in examining one's pocket change, but the approach is everything (and this isn't it).

Don't ever hold coins by the faces unless you are planning on spending them, hold them by the edges only, with clean hands, over a soft towel. That way, if you accidentally drop one, it won't land on a hard surface. Also, it is spelled pennies, not pennys, and they're not even pennies, they're cents.

I used to have to fix the drawers that got their tracks all bent up and then call for service complaining the drawer won't close.
