I have a 5 francs coin with an A mintmark with the date being LAN 4. I know it is the french revolution calendar but I can't figure out how to convert. Thanks Tom

Year 1 of the french revolutionary calender started on Sept.22 1792 and ended on Sept. 21 1793.
    Year 2 started on Sept.22 1793 and ended on Sept. 21 1794

Year 4 started on Sept.23 1795 and ended on Sept. 21 1796, and so on...

The years started on Sept. 22, 23 or 24, due to the difference with the Gregorian calender in leap years.
