Unknown Coin/copy

    I don't know if this is a real coin and if so what is it.

    I can clearly see the word "COPY" stamped into the lower reverse. That may be a clue it is a copy.

    Its a pretty ugly copy.... but its your call. I say keep it, it can't really hurt.

    Good gosh there really is no need to send it off to a landfill for the rest of eternity... If you don't want this reproduction than how about giving it away to someone who may have an interest? Perhaps a history teacher could use this coin to show in their classroom. Just because it isnt original doesn't mean that it doesnt have educational potential or another good use even though it isn't of the best quality as Ardatirion said.

    As Anemic said, it's a very bad tourist face of a coin of Gela. Don't undestand the incuse mark on obverse though !
