Certainly, :) Via USPS and the occasional visits to the coin store in Rapid City. I also picked up a couple when in Omaha visiting relatives. But, mainly I used V-Coins and Ebay as an internet source.

    Ben:
You'd be amazed if you ever got to a real city how many coins that they have!
(Rapid City & Omaha? Did they have more than two coins each?)

[Just teasing for those without a sense of humor]

In August of 1994 we went to Albany to visit some of the wife's family and traveled up into Vermont hitting all the little shops and antique stores along the way. Let me tell you Jen went shopping crazy. All I got was 4 Mickey Mantle cards and a few coins.

Hey, I've got a sister by Omaha. I may be over there the end of this month. If I'm in the Omaha or the Lincoln area where are some coin stores to visit. I've work the ones over here in Utah need some new material to look at.

The one which I visit when time and money permits is on 13th street in Omaha. Just can't remember the name. It's close to the Bohemian Cafe.

    Bonedigger,

Way to go on getting to the point of even approaching a BHNC member with a collection of 100 die marriages. That's a major accomplishment. You sure did it in a hurry. I say crack the slabs, although I'm getting advice to the contrary from some BH nuts nearer retirement/selling off than I. I started slowly around 2000-2001 and am now at 62 die marriages. The fever hits hard, doesn't it? I'm lucky if I pick up a coin every couple of months ($$) so it will be a while yet before I get to 100. I've enjoyed what you've shared with us about your collection and I hope to figure out how to get mine mounted on the net in a similar fashion. It's a great way to share and learn.

It sure seems like more and more are going after the busties. The prices are rising and the tough coins are a LOT tougher now, just since I first started. I wish I had popped more money out about five years ago on some dates that are now through the roof and much harder to find. Oh well.

    Congratulations.

Oh, I lived in Duluth for 10 years so I know it doesn't really matter until it's about 30 below with a strong wind. Hang in there. The Badlands area is one of the country's treasures.

Nice collection, as you know I have also been working on this for years.
At this time I have about #95 pieces (about because I believe that there may be a duplicate posing in my computer program.)
This is one very difficult project and I salute you!

Well Frank, one day we both may become members of the BHNC and get to show off our collections in person. :) I must admit, it's been frustrating not being able to have them attributed via pics, but I can understand the need to have it done and verified.

Chuckle, actually you should PM bqcoins. He lives in Omaha and probably knows exactly where/what I'm referring to. :)
