Opinions on this 1968S nickel

    I like to hear what members say about this nickel. Other than PMD (especially center of obverse) what is causing the color variation? Environmental damage? Improperly annealed? Your thoughts. anneal damage?.jpg

    Looks like someone drooled a bunch of Sugar Daddy on it.

    No. Environmental damage, yes and that's the same thing as PMD.

    Thanks. As soon as I posted this I knew it was environmental as the edge color changes too much to be anything else.
