Are you sure it's not some sort of medal or ancient trinket? Never seen anything like that.

Same scratches and same damage. Very suspicious. :bag: What are the odds of two identical coins like that.

I feel bad for the dude that paid $130 at that auction for one of these.

I don't know that it's necessarily a fake. It looks like the exact same coin that was sold in that auction, toned spots and everything. They're definitely the same physical item. Whether or not the auction coin is fake, I dunno, I don't collect these types.

sallent, l think that one from auction is genuine..somebody made copy of that one in bronze..like this one offered to me..

Are you sure it is bronze? It looks silver in your photos. It does not appear to be a copy of the coin shown by arnoldoe... it appears to be the same coin.

I don't think that's a copy of the coin from the auction. It is the coin from the auction and it looks 100% genuine. They are the same coin. Maybe your friend lied about finding it in the ground and was actually the one who bought it on that link? Or they could have found it detecting and sold it already for 130 GBP?

Either way, that's the same exact coin from the auction...

USCC42, he told me this is a bronze coin, nearly 8 grams..thats why l was completely confused..so, coin from the auction is definitely genuine..l have to be careful , in any case..thank you very much guys..

Did he send the wrong photo? It is clearly silver and not 8 grams. It is the coin @arnoldoe found which was sold in May.
