Is the eBay seller 'NumisCorner' (numis_corner) legit?

I have purchased several coins from this seller on both eBay and V-coins. In their packaging they like to represent themselves, in English, as a full service coin dealer, but I have tried to negotiate for a better price several times, and in every case was met with stony silence. Someone suggested it might make a difference to write in French, but that leaves me out.

On those multiple listings, they tend to hawk the same coins for buyers in different currencies. I tend to shop around on those to find the most advantageous exchange rate for an eBay purchase. Usually the same coin is a bit less pricey from them on Vcoins, but not always.

I most certainly would do a lot more shopping on VCoins if they made it easier to ignore the sellers where I know I will not be finding anything. Overpriced is one but not the only category I'd block to get the thousands of offerings down to a hundred worth considering. I know I would miss seeing some good coins but being able to see all the serious contenders with ease would be worth it.

It'd be nice. Maybe something for vcoins to consider.

While not as flexible as a sql query, the vcoins advanced search is good enough for filtering out numiscorner. E.g.

I've only got one "coin" from NumisCorner...

The price was not bad on this excellent little dolphin, but some of their other stuff seems a little pricey for what it is, which is why I've never bought from them again.

That is nicer than usual for those.

I've bought a total of 7 coins from NC the past few years and did enough searching & checking to see what the average price was for said coins and NC wasn't that bad compared to other websites. Few were no choices as they had what I wanted in my price range and not a single seller did.

Plus the free shipping, even for international, was attractive.

I have been happy with all the coins I have got from them and would continue to buy more if the time comes again.

BUT I do agree it is a bit annoying the amount of new stock that is listed.

To be completely honest I would probably purchase from Mr. Zlobin before I'd purchase from Numiscorner simply because the former has, at least once, accepted what I considered a fair high retail offer whereas I've made Numiscorner the sort of high offers that I sort-of hoped wouldn't be accepted(because I'd regret having severely overpaid) and they were immediately rejected. The one coin he currently has in inventory that I'd like to buy I'd probably buy at 65% of the ask price and still would feel like I overpaid. The only other one I've had my eye on would be in my opinion average retail at about 25-30% asking price but I'm not even willing to send an offer when a coin is that astronomically overpriced, I'd rather just move on and spend my money with a seller that isn't playing games and actually wants to sell their inventory.

I, too, have had success getting a few coins from Mr. Zlobin. I don't offer on many and never bother with things I think most people would find attractive but on rare occasion, my high crossed his low. I wish I knew which of his very overpriced coins he is tired of so I might find more. I no longer bother with European sales except for a few dealers I have had luck with before. I know there are people there willing to pay more and I'll let them. The great advantage to having a small budget and no great hurry to spend it is that you don't feel the need to shop every store.

I'm seeing both their accounts doubling up on their inventory (i.e. Sabina [#31616]), is that what you're talking about?

Using stock photos of ancient coins without saying so is totally unacceptable. Ancient coins are unique. I want to see the exact coin i am buying or i will be returning it more than likely and never ordering again.

If you have a group of 100 of something and I am buying one that you pick from the lot then say so clearly.

Their prices generally stop me from being interested in their offerings anyway.
