I'm assuming the 1870's Indian Head Cents are a little tough to get in decent grades ?
This is pretty much the only ones I am missing.
I have a few ag-g specimens, but this range is what eludes me from finishing the series.

Anyone else find this to be their problem in completing the set ?

Show me some sexy examples !

Yes, these are tough to find with any sort of grade. Most of them are AG/G. I have been telling people that they should buy these at any opportunity for the past wo years.

I have been looking for many dates in the 1870's for years, and, yes, they are very tough.
    Good luck in your search.

Thats usually the grades that I find more common with IHCs from the mid to late 60s through the 1870s. It is very hard to find them in any grade above G4.

    I agree with Indianhead.
Recently I had the chance to get the 1867 in XF-AU and the 1874 In XF.
Paid near ask, but they are scarce and hard to get.

I believe too thats you should pick these up anytime you find them in higher grades, you may not see them offered again for a while. I recently bought a G6 1872 IHC from shortgapbob at a show. Its the nicest one I found in quite a while.
