    1960 D penny has the B in LIBERTY underlined, can anyone tell me anything about this ?

    It's probably a die chip. But tell me can you see anything in the photo you posted, do you think we can?

    Welcome to CoinTalk. Looks like a die chip to me. It is always best to post both sides of the coin.

    No, just that line that is twice as thick as the lettering

    Since it’s pretty much unanimous that it’s a die chip, is that good, bad, or insignificant ?
