Pulled this one out of the cash register at work. I don't know what or if there is a specific name for this sequencing, but it sure caught my eye when I looked at it. Pics are from my phone so sorry about the lack of clear detail. It is a 1963 series with no rips or tears, just creases from being in circulation for 55 years.
I don't think its been in circulation for 55 years. I would say it recently came out of someones collection. Bills just do not last that long in circulation. and yea, it's cool.
I'm thinking someone pilfered dad or grandpas stash. Way too crisp to have survived all those years changing hands. It's had a sheltered life.
Looks like a 63B to me, which would make it a Barr note. Although a minor bump in value, it doesn’t hurt to be a Barr note. This note was printed/distributed in 1968-1969. It could be out of someone’s collection seeing that $1’s don’t circulate for 50 years. Nice find !
Yes the Barr notes (1963 B) are worth more than face. He was only in office for 1 month. December 21, 1968 until January 20, 1969. And it's a repeater.
